Macadamia is a genus of four species of trees indigenous to Australia and constituting part of the plant family Proteaceae. They are native to north eastern New South Wales and central and south eastern Queensland. The tree is commercially important for its fruit, the macadamia nut or simply macadamia.
We are happy to finally stock Pinenuts again at a reasonable price. Pinenuts are the small edible seeds of the female cone in a Pine tree and are also known as Pine Kernels. They are deliciously crunchy with a sweet buttery texture and are the main ingredient in traditional pesto recipes. Pine kernels are a great source of plant derived nutrients, essential minerals, vitamins and "heart friendly" monounsaturated fatty acids that help benefit in reducing cholesterol levels in the blood.
